everything moves
slowly – at the pace of snails
when the timing’s right
minimalism
breathe
breathe…
release.
odd socks
odd socks
scattered loosely on a dryer
there was a time
when odd socks were scarce –
an anomaly –
then you grew
and your feet grew long
and my sock pairs grew scarce –
an endangered species
I saw them this morning…
and it made me miss you
like I miss socks
when you are here

just a thought…
Spend your money on something more useful. This goes for me, you, and everyone else.
breaking the binds of social media (haiku)
removed from my phone
freedom! – this feels like step one
goodbye bird and book
morning meditation
light filters in
through the cracked window
as the dog gnaws at his favorite spot
and i sit
quiet
focused on nothing
and everything
with empty mind
the fan turns quietly
the floor creaks underneath
a car passes
beyond the old wooden door
and i sit
quiet
focused on everything
and nothing
another morning haiku
a radio plays softly
as raindrops sing melodies
on dusty windows
Bald again…a true minimalist
Manifesto
Always find a way to let go of things.
Always.
May the Fourth Be With You
Sitting around the house tonight just relaxing with a nice Caucasian; much needed after a long week. Some good things on the horizon though, including our moving into a sweet little bungalow at the beginning of June. So packing away our stuff is high on the list…and while we do that it is just one more reason to minimize what we keep. Because seriously…who needs a bunch of useless crap. It’s all apart of abiding and being more dude-like…
And this dude abides.
One thing, though…
And this is more for me than for anyone else, but if you haven’t had a chance to check out “May the Fourth Be With You you need to do that asap:
Awesome. You’re welcome Internets!
